Snowey reads over the parchment, clearly interested. She then reaches into her bag, checks her funds and her face drops. She adds a note on the bottom anyway:
“So, I’m fairly sure I can’t afford this, but I can offer 250gp. I can also throw in a couple of small things if it helps (a small toy dragon made of reeds from Gadenthor and a signed picture of Leocanto?). It’s still probably not enough, sorry for filling up your sign…”

Sorrel looks at Zola carefully for a moment. "I joined the faithful of Selune after... well, you remember," she says eventually. "But I'm a late starter and the powers I'm discovering are hindered by that. The goddess offers bolts of pure radiant moonlight to believers but they don't have the accuracy of my beloved bow. I thought this might make them more... competitive." She shrugs. "If I go to Hell again, I would like to have more than a longbow."

Sorrel bumps into Zola again. “Hey, comrade, so no pressure, deals take time, totally chill, only I seem to be about to tackle an actual god next week. Obvs you and the team hanging on for the best price by the end of next week. What would it take to expediate? Did I mention it was, like, a god?”

Snowey receives a note from Zola: "As much as I love your offer, there is a bid higher than yours, and since I'm selling the wand on behalf of a party, I'm obliged to accept the higher bid. Sorry!" WillJ Blessed also receives a note from Zola: "Sorry, but I'm already semi-famous! Thank you for the offer though." stephena Sorrel is approached by Zola in Daring Heights this week. She looks... different. "I'm sorry I'm so late on this, I was caught up in...something else. Your bid was the highest, so it's yours." (Sold to Sorrel for 1,000 gp!)

Sorrel looks at Zola like she’s trying to work something out. “Have you been on holiday or something? You look.. I don’t know…”
She hands over 1,000 gold and pulls out a potion.
“Hey, also, I have this potion that has Zola written all over it,” she looks at the bottle. “Not literally. It says Revelry. But it’s good for dancers if you want it. Let me know.”
She thinks maybe she should give her a hug, but… ain’t no wand of introvert removal.
