Derthaad did not know the sort of gift he was accepting when he allowed the Queen of Air and Darkness to place her mark on him a year ago.
It wasn’t until he was in the Summer Court helping his comrade, Kavel, walk the Spirit Road to bring back his lady love that the dragonborn found out.
Nathalie’s reaction had been… unexpected.
Turns out when you accept the mark of the Queen of Unseelie Fey, the Seelie Fey tend to not trust you. Who knew?
Derthaad certainly didn’t.
He’s never been much interested in the Fey, but he wants to remove the mark as soon as possible.
There’s just the small matter of how.
