Lots going on, need to make notes or I'll slip up.
Met a bunch more big people and some kind of wingless red dragon? Seemed a bit of a dick whatever it was. Servant to some elf called Alphonse with nice clothes which is kinda funny. Let's see how long that lasts. Also some bugbear called Jax who looks good to hide behind. Loud and obvious - hope to work with him again. Met Nakia again - didn't even remember me. Good work Digs.
Followed up on a note telling us to go to some gods forsaken sandbar in the port. No pay mentioned. No danger either. Has to be some way we get paid so let's do it.
Found a bunch of toys made for humans. Alive? Some kind of magic? Survivors of some kind of shipwreck. One was made of paper so would be interested in story there.
They want a house so we argue for an hour about the best way to do it and make them a house. Stole some tar from a ship, but told the others I bought it. They bought it. Used it to waterproof a chest.
Clear that we weren't going to get paid, but... helped them anyway. Just seemed, right?
They're small and weak and want to make their way in the world without some big powerful protector. They want to live for themselves.
Maybe I'm getting strong enough to stick my neck out every now and again.
No. Nobody targets the coward, the weakling... the pathetic little kobold.
Getting invested was stupid. That's how you get noticed.
