I never really understood how people can make aim with these small crossbows.
Would anyone be interested in buying it from me? It is exquisitely crafted and magically imbued!

I’d be very interested to trade. I have some cumbersome weapons that are just too unwieldy for me, but could not be of finer craftsmanship. I just lack (or Lach) the skill to unleash their power.
A cleric like you should be able to make good use?
(Warhammer, magical, radiant damage and mace +1 hit and +1 damage, magical)

Ah! I've seen you around, Lachlan was it? I do appreciate your performances. That is very considerate of you but sadly I have no use for these weapons, my Goddess has already granted me an instrument to punish the unwise. Tell you what, I've been told you are going on a dangerous mission soon, take it... it might be crucial in your survival. Afterwards, either return it to me or let's discuss other terms of trade.

Any patron who provides fine instruments is one to be celebrated. Maybe you could tell me more about your goddess?
