In the aftermath of the war a package arrives at Fort Ettin addressed to
"the Noble and Honourable Lady Oziah Daybreaker"
Inside is a strange crystal and a letter simply stating:
"I have a gift for you, the crystal should provide anyone with a knowledge of portals the ability to allow you to join me so I may present it."
