Two weeks ago, a squadron of Orc Valkyries joined the effort to defend Daring Heights from the coming invasion. This morning, their leader Beatride has stuck a finely-calligraphed note on the board in the Great Hall at Fort Ettin:
Dear Adventurers. It has been brought to my attention that my unit's weapons are looking rather... insufficient for the coming fight. We need fresh steel, and there's only one weaponsmith who can forge our blades. Last we heard he's out in the mountains near Jarvenhol. Meet my Sergeant Barda on the roof, she'll get you there.
That's the job. Accompany Barda to Eastern Kul Goran. Find the steelsmith. Bring back the good stuff. Don't die. The War Council will pay your expenses.
