we helped the town today!!

well we yoked some teen owlbears

oh yes i met a guy named phil and girl named poppy .
phill and poppy ?
well phil said he was a noble gound hog and poppy said she was a giant goat , and specifically the kind with horns and white not the bigger kind with no horns and other brown colours , but she can speak to people , and when we met she was speaking to people about wanting to help in town , so thats why we went out
how did a goat , a ground hog and a toad yoke teenage owlbears ?
well when we got into the center of the town after chasing the little one out of the clearing ,phil....
the clearing ??
well , we went to the clearing to find the owlbears after his majesty king heronimus told-off us and Mr Bubbles and we couldnt pull the carts any more
the king ??
yeah so , king heronimus is a big ram here in bloddy creek and i think he runs the animal union too
why did the king of the animals tell us off ??
well none of the animals are allowed to work today because of the union so that everyone gets a break , they cant work even if they want to , and Mr Bubbles really really wanted to , poppy wante to help too , because theres a big invasion and all the wood houses and tent town are for new peple who need warm places , but we didnt know we were breaking the rules , so the king said if we wanted to help we coud help the Knights of the Round Trough to trick some owlbears into pulling carts instead of animals giving up their rest , Mr Bubbles didnt want to do that because it was dangerous and silly and he didnt like their plan.
the plan ??
well Mr Bubbles, the sheepdog, lead us the clearing and we met the Knights of the Round Trough so we found out Sir gallahad wanted to charge and sir percival agreed , Sir lancelot wanted a pincer from a different side and sir tristan wanted to hit with a mighty donkey kick
was that the plan ??
ah yes , but we didnt use that plan, the owl bears were much bigger than us and lots of people said they might see us as food , we decided to try and talk to them if we could get them honey from a beehive so they work for us
if we had honey why did we have to chase them through town ??
oh well after sir gallahad the goose flew phil and me up the tree...
yeah ...ah , sir gallahad the goose , sir tristan the donkey , sir percival the hog and sir lancelot the Goat are the Knights of the Round Trough that i met , and sir Gallahad flew us up to the tree while poppy talked to one of the owlbears on the edge of the clearing
poppys owlbear growled at her so we tried to talk to the smaller ones near us
they seemed to agree with us when we said we'd get them honey but poppy called over to say they couldnt understand us, or even the people language
poppy was really far away and phill and i were in a tree and all of us had at least one owlbears attention and they were all very hungry
what did we do ??
well after the big bear started to climb the tree to eat us phill swatted the beehive down, but fell too, and the beehive hit one of the small ones and it ran off and poppy tried to chase it towards a cart but the carts are still in town
...phill fell on to the other small one ...and... I tried to jump down onto the same one but landed on the back of a big one instead
did it notice ??
no, the big one didnt notice so much , it started running after the small one that ran and the other smaller and even smaller baby ran after the big parents , and as we ran through town we did our best to steer them too the carts , I got flung from the big ones face before Phil could yoke the teens
why was I on the big ones face ??
well you see , i climbed along it after sort of landing on the tail end of it to try and cover its eyes or shout in it ear to keep it on the right track
the right track ?
yeah the teen bear that had gotten frightened by the bee's had run off in the not-right direction with poppy still trying to herd it right . so i tried to get mine in the right one but it jolted its head and i was flung off , I managed to float down though, off in a cart , it was fun to fly a second time that day! phill was still on his owlbear though and had fung his weight from side to side to direct it , sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt , but what really worked was when they were near the cart phill used so much movement to fling up to the wooden bar spin around and catch his owlbear in the animal slot , poppy wrangled hers too and phil ended up being motivational bait while we steeder the cart around town to exhaust them and transport stuff, and then handed them over to some people in the town , poppy had to explain to A LOT of people.
So now the town has more working animals ,so i'm sure it'll wall work out , poppy had suggested shifts so none of the work stops for days on end but also so the animals arent exhausted , i think a few new bears will be useful , 2 is a lot .
and Mr Bubbles made us all honorary sheepdogs for our effort , i bet yo he was a little impressed !!
