[DTA 09/05/22] Daring Academy Doings
Following his successful research in the library last week, Amble carries out a Taxing DTA of academic work in DA, using History to sort out one of the dustier corners of the library that he had spotted was in some disarray when carrying out his research. It proves to be downtime well spent... Amble's relationship with DA remains one of warm mutual magely respect, and he earns himself a comfortable lifestyle, 25 GP, and no complications.

[Extract from one freestyle track on the Insane Gnome Posse Anthology]
Like our lyrics - - the books were out of order, cudda drove our main man mad as he was browsing in the corner.
But he was a man on a mission, doing his mushroom fiend revision*, researching out the enemy, reliably fishin' for things to learn to make those fungi feel the burn when Amble next steps up to take his turn - EVISCERATION!!!
A few weeks later ('cus he's a humble guy), he said: "If you like, then I can try to evaluate (from low to high) these tomes of warlocks and magi...
Mixed up, the contents are a mystery - but, for an appropriate wage (or gift) to me, I'll use a more structured approach - and your problems will be History."
[* More on this in a separate Spore post when it comes]

[DTA 16/05/22] Daring Academy Doings
The messed up collection of more venerable old tomes in Daring Academy's library presents a never-ending battle, and soon even Amble's voracious appetite for skim-reading, codification, and itemisation of contents begins to wane.
Exploring DA's collection of herbal teas helps to pass the time, however. He discovers a dried cloudberry tea that he hasn't noticed before - which he enjoys especially, as it induces a certain nostalgia for his childhood (back in his 20s and 30s). This helps him to maintain his flagging attention a little bit longer as he wades through increasingly viscous reams of text.
Aside from a mild reprimand for "slurping" from the chief librarian, the days pass unremarkably, and he earns enough to cover his modest lifestyle.
