I Don't Want to Miss a Spring...
Lolli didn't have the energy to finish of her name in a straight line, her pen slipped. She had managed to stay awake the whole night after dancing all night long. Even after all the others had passed out. She had manged to cause a neon rave party that night with her 'Prestidigitation' spell. She felt unstoppable. With endless energy. And then when she got home she still felt like she had so much energy so she started writing the letter to her parents. But as soon as she knew she was at the end of the letter, tiredness washed over her before she knew it. She face planted into the table she was writing on. Falling instantly into a deep asleep, with the pink pen in her hand. She slept on her desk the whole way through the night with a happy smile on her face.
Dear Mum and Dad,
OMG I think I saw MERLA. At a party! I mean it was super hard to tell. But like I’m fairly sure… ok it is possible I had like waaaay too many milkshakes and imagined her there but I feel like I did see her. Did I? Was it her? Hmmm… I'm not sure now.
Anyway oh yeah, I should start from the beginning. So my bestest pal Glade mentioned that she got a message from someone called Leona Autumn to meet her at this little cocktail bar in Daring Heights called the ‘Fiore Popolare’. Anyway I waited with Glade while other turned up. I got to meet Lucky again. I ran and gave him a big hug. You know he was the Tabaxi I mentioned before. Very stylish. Then I got to meet some new friends as well, Toothy, Vicros and Blessed. Also all amazing people. We headed over to Fiore Popolare. The whole place is covered in beautiful flowers and there’s like a massive tree in the middle of the place. Oh my gumdrop, if you both ever come to Daring Heights I am bringing you there. The place is unbelievably amazing and the drinks are de-licious. While we were there we got to meet the lovely Leona. She is so wonderful and she made each of us perfect cocktails. Like we didn’t even have to ask. She made me a large strawberry milkshake, with massive amounts of cream and a cherry on top. Like how did she know that was my favourite? She then mentions that she wants to get help with some festive celebrations. That’s why she reached out to Glade. Well of course. Glade is amazing. Leona mentions that we were to go to the Feylight Garden Theatre. That’s Merla’s building!!! She like made this building. Let’s just say I was super-dee-duper excited. I may have gasped. Glade is amazing for bringing me along. I think I was skipping the whole way there.
When we arrive, the whole place was so beautiful. It’s another place I’m bring you both if you ever get to Daring Heights. It’s full of amazing flowers and again beautiful and breath taking. Then we got to meet Tassels. He’s the one that organises everything that happens at the theatre. He tells us that he’s needs help with the following jobs.
Getting people to come to the show. Lucky and Blessed volunteer to help with this. They linked hands like a happy couple as they left. I wonder if they both like each other… Maybe? Anyway they managed to get so many people to come to the show. Even Leocanto from the Guilded Mirror was there.
Help was needed with making costumes, props and flower crowns. Oh course, Glade and I volunteered for that job. And while I was there I got to see Annabella Fitzgrove. You know my employer? She’s amazing but she really needed the help so I drove in and started quickly working on making all the costumes. Glade managed to summon some raccoons and they helped her make so many flower crowns.
Help was also needed carrying props and sets onto the stage. Toothy signed up for that part and he did so amazing. He is seriously strong. He was able to single handily carry tones of props.
And finally volunteers were needed to help with the magic tricks and sets on stage. Vicros, Glade and I also signed up for this. Glade managed to cause flowers burst on the scene for one of the acts. It was awesome. I used my spells to help one of the cast members fly and then another spell for Juliette to fall safely down. I learned that from my pal Amble. One of his special spell. Vicros did an amazing spell where he caused some ice to crumble down like snow and myself and Glade joined in helping to make the scene wonderful.
We all got an amazing round of applause. Lucky got up near the end of event and did an amazing poem to the whole crowd. Tassels even joined him on stage helping to act out the scenes.
Oh yeah, in between some of the shows there were like some mini things happening outside. Some of the other children were jumping over sticks so I joined in with them. It seems super fun.
When everything was done we were all told to go back to the main stage for the main event. There was going to be a mayday pole dance. Ones with ribbons and we all had to dance around. I was super excited for this. I love dancing.
Anyway in the middle of it, while we had swords in our hands, we are suddenly asked some questions to reflect on ourselves.
What is the one thing I wish I could change about myself? I immediately thought of the fact that I am not sure I am a good adventurer. So I tried to let go of my self-doubt and threw my sword down.
What is a promise I will make to myself and will actually keep? I decide then and there that I promise that I will always keep my positive spirit up. That no matter what happens I will remain me. I throw my flower crown up in the air and it lands back to me and it looks always Lilac now.
Suddenly I see a large woman with the most amazingly bluest eyes staring at me. But before I know it she disappears and I can see everyone back in the room dancing.
I am having such a good time. I order like a million milkshakes throughout the whole night. I mean they’re not as delicious as Leona’s but they are yummy! We all dance super long into the night. I even saw Lucky going off in the distance somewhere with Tassel. I wonder what they got up too? Were they practising more lines for future plays?
Anyway I managed to stay awake the whole night and kept dancing away. I thank Glade so much for inviting me here.

I managed to only get home now. I see that Leona left me a magical cocktail drink with a note saying thanks for the help. I decided to write you the letter now. I am pretty tired. So I think I will end it here.
