Jedd busies himself cleaning (read, evenly spreading) last night's grime from the Cavernous Seashank's tabletops, groaning under the pain of a hangover. It had been a long night, but to be fair, he enjoyed spending time with his patrons, even if he would never admit as much. This is when the door opens, cruel sunlight intruding into his cave of stale beer vapours and bodily odours. *Something* walks in. Or waddles, more like, leaving moist footprints on the floorboards. The toadman hunches over the notice board, retches up some phlegm to spit on an unoccupied space, and then presses a damp piece of parchment onto it. The bullywug turns, croaks in greeting and waddles out, leaving Jedd scratching his aching head at the unusual visit.
