Meet the Parents: Friends Edition
I'll get to it, I don't want to keep dragon-on and on!

Summary:
Varga assembles her favourite crew starring Toothy, Kelne, Oziah and Celina. The group are brought in to meet the parents and things kick off. Gerthrude a simple business owner strikes up a quick friendship with Celina, a fellow apple seller and entrepreneur. They both discuss business and exchange contact details. Celina even brags about how successful her daughter's shop is and boosts it up. This surprises Gerthrude to learn and she is extremely pleased to hear this about her daughter. Celina sure got a lot of points with the parents there.
Things take a turn when her parents get down to the real reason for their visit. Unbeknownst to Varga, her parents had separate visions of their daughter victorious on the battlefield. This was a sign from their gods. However, one thing wasn't clear was which location it would be. Each parent was determined their place was the right in which they had seen their daughter. It seems the choice was going to come down to this mighty barbarian. The visions are seen in:
Ysgard suggested by her mother, a land full exceptionally large beasts that can't die
Acheron suggested by her father, a land full of armies of the undead and warriors
So reader who you reckon will win? Her mother or her father? What would you pick? Place your bets now...

So, did you pick? What is Varga's choice after debating her options you may ask... Well Varga in fact decided that she was going to not just one location. Oh no that was in fact to simple for her. She decided that she in fact was going to please the god by going to both locations. Bet you didn't see that coming... Were you right?
Varga had a plan for this too. She was going to first go to Ysgard, capture a dragon and bring it over to Acheron and kill it over there. Oziah and Celina were on it. They raced over to discuss things with Aurelia. She was the one who was going to be helping to open the portals after all. With a little bit of stretching of truth on the exact plan (ok... it might have been more of a straight up lie on the size and aliveness of the creature they would be bringing) both Celina and Oziah managed to get her on board.
When the time was ready Varga, her friends and parents gather round and head on their way to the first location, Ysgard. Aurelia helped opened the portal and everyone goes through. Entering into the new location there's three large red dragons which attack the group and fly off. The chase is on. Varga and the others chase after one of the dragons and set to work on getting the beast unconscious. There were some impressive fighting moves from Toothy, Oziah and of course Celina and some equally powerful magic from Kelne. However, It comes down to Varga making the final blow to the dragon. The vision her parents had was correct. This dragon did not want to go down easily but it was no match for Varga.
With the first part over, Kelne calls to Aurelia to open the portal. The portal opens to a surprised Aurelia who was not expecting to see the dragon. After more convincing, Aurelia opens another portal to Acheron. Quickly Varga and the rest carry the dragon to the next portal and set it loose. It come back and flies into the new location. Varga's father jumps into the new portal and mentions he wants to stay fight for a while. The group wave him off and head towards the local tavern for a much-needed drink after that fight.
Chats and laughter were had all through the night. Even with a surprise appearance from Ivan. However, the one thing that sticks out towards the end of the night is the large cheers to "Varga the Dragonslayer" she will forever remain to this day.
