My companions and I came across an shield in our travels, black as he night it swallows light and sound allowing the wielder to more easily avoid detection.
None of my band use shields so, if this is of use to you we are happy to part with it, for a price.
Gold is preferred, other items more useful to our vocations may be considered for exchange.

What type of shield are we talking about here?
(What are rhe actual mechanics? Might be interested in a trade of some sorts!)

Shield, requires attunement, +2 bonus to stealth checks.
