In times of chaos and turbulence it's very important to have strict moral guardians. And who better to keep a party on the straight and narrow than Doom Bah the Dwarf? A Cleric by calling, Doom Bah hails from the freezing Icewind Dale where he mined for gems in the mountains near the Ten-Towns and delivered sermons in his spare time. After turning 75, which is always a tricky age for a dwarf, Doom Bah's parents urged him to travel. Indeed, Doom Bah's father Worth Tun gave him a great war hammer, Nurofen, to assist him should he encounter enemies. These days Nurofen sees a good deal of action.
All adventurers worth their silver pieces are heading for the Portal at the moment and so it is that Doom Bah finds himself on the Kantas Expanse. His ambition is to build a temple to Moradin somewhere in Kantas and so enthusiastically collects for what he describes as 'church funds', especially from unfortunate monsters. Doom Bah also likes to deliver 'correction' to beings he considers to be evil-doers, which is mostly what you meet while wandering on the Expanse. He will call on Clangeddin the Dwarf God of Battle, and lead the fight from the front.
Doom Bah is more liberal than the average dwarf and realises that it takes all sorts to make a world. But he has little time for elves who he considers to be casual in their approach to the big issues in life. And while Doom Bah loves to travel and see the world he will grow misty eyed at the thought of his mountain halls in Icewind, and may burst into song at odd moments. At that point his companions buy him another pint to shut him up.
