Ivan Erickson is the youngest son of a Human Barbarian Chieftain Erick Frankison, thirsty to stand out from among a family of warriors protecting the Seas around their home and expanding their influence outwards.
At the tender age of 12 Ivan was promised to the daughter of a Tribal Leader of the Great North Continent to solidify alliances, but this was not to be for Ivan Erickson. Seeking glory before being tied to a fate he hadn't curved out in the corpse of enemies he decided to leave home. He was not initiated into the Afro-Norse traditions and left with a lack knowledge of his peoples way and his families noble lineage.
Ivan was the youngest of a Noble family but wanted to leave to seek his own fate, treasures and glory without the shadow of a great father or an established name. He came to Kantas to find his naval career but led to something un-expected; empathy, friendship, culture, adventure and many treasures (a bit expected maybe). He has made some mistakes early on his stay in this land taking part in raids that were not honourable but trying to make things right.
Ivan will bring enemies to his knees, merchants to their price boards (cutting costs, of course), Nobles to hold their gold chains and bring glory to those with little noble blood. He is an Afro-Viking that has found many seek an axe to protect them from the dark of night or inconvenience of finding a book (basically, I'll take any job).
Things close to his heart; Calisthenics, Axe HIIT training, and getting completely hammered with friends and at times with enemies (no specific Drows implicated (if you know, you know!))
