Nowhere and Nuno (Rholor) like this

Friends of the Ettin.
Some of you may be wondering why a Xvart has been running around the last few days, allow me to explain.
A wagoner, half orc half dragon-born by the name of Gurr, lost his wagon to the creatures whilst delivering mining equipment to the quarry west of town. Turoch the half orc, Grimes the guard sergeant, a hlafling named Flish, a dwarf with the ear of his god, and a human with the ear of something else entirely, joined me in reclaiming the wagon and its cargo.
The rain, though bitter, showed us the way. The tracks of the stolen wagon were easy to follow in the soft mud. By some good fortune, thank Tymora, the horse had slipped its harness and escaped the thieves, after much persuasion, we managed to calm and retrieve the beast. Without a draft horse to pull it the wagon was moving very slowly and we quickly caught the 6 blue menaces pulling the stolen goods as they tried to take it to their dwelling in the mountains north of the quarry.
Suffering little in return we killed most of the diminutive bandits, and subdued two for questioning. One spoke only in a language we could not fathom but the other gave up information, they had bribed a quarry worker for the delivery schedual and captured the carts which interested them.
Returning to town we rested a night and the talkative Xvart has sworn to serve me, and thus can be seen running errands in and around the Ettin, the other we have left to the tender mercies of a gentleman with the enigmatic name of Nowhere.
Which reminds me, if you see the Teifling remind him that he owes us for the capture.
Returning to the quarry the following day we informed the forewoman Zara of the questionable loyalties of her man and left her to keep her own shop.
Following the information gained from Xiv the Xvart we made our way to a cave north of the quarry, but that is a separate tale and I have left a note on the board for those interested in the missing people.
