Over the course of the past month and a half, Jaezred Vandree delivered letters to a selection of adventurers, those who are friends of Root Penrosea — people he’s helped, people who have helped him, and people who are otherwise invested in his well-being. The letters all read as such:
Dearest Adventurers,
I once again ask for your aid in a matter more personal.
It seems the Collector has agreed to a civil conversation with myself, a truce talk perhaps. I can only hope it will be a straightforward affair, but I cannot call on their character and know for certain of this.
One of your own Lord Jaezred has graciously lent me his aid, and will be attending with me, if others could join I would be much appreciative. I do not know what might happen.
