On a late twilight evening, a note is added to the notice board of Fort Ettin. Walking by, Coll sees it and looks around – but sees no one else in the Great Hall.
At the same in Daring Heights, New Hillborrow and Port Ffirst in the usual haunts famed adventurers frequent, the same note appears. No one sees who has left it in these places either. It reads thus:
Days later, Coll is looking at the note again, troubled line between his brow. People have been going missing. Could it be that this note was a warning? He is debating taking it down, when someone clears their throat behind him.
“You are Coll, guardian and proprietor of Fort Ettin, yes? My name is Commander Darunia Daruth, I hail from the Summer Court. I wish to discuss a job that could use the assistance of the Dawnland adventurers…”
