Huey, Tuey, and Louie – Miriam’s sons, aarakocra (hummingbirds), male
His Lordship Verin Montilyet – King of D’Avalon, tabaxi (lion), male
Sabis – the King’s husband, tabaxi (snow leopard), male
Serena – the King’s wife, tabaxi (snow leopard), female
The Tailor – royal tailor, triton, female
Polaris – Head of Noble House in D’Avalon (one of three that rotate ruling), aarakocra (peacock), male
Quinton Mac Tir – Head of Noble House in D’Avalon (one of three that rotate ruling), high elf, male
NAME UNKNOWN – head of security/spar velah’rnair, aarakocra (cassowary), male
Locations:
Daring Heights – Dawnlands city
D’Avalon – city of artists, merchants, creatives, Harnash, ruled by one of three noble houses every 10 years
Body:
The King of D’Avalon decided to host a party to celebrate the cleansing of undead from their city – a job done by a group of Dawnlanders a few weeks prior. (NB: Have yet to find out who.) Saw the open invitation on the notice board in the Three Headed Dragon where Lunabolt was helping to complete Common Sign Language training. Previous teacher, an earth genasi by the name of Zircon, had refused to complete training due to a mistaken comment of calling them “quartz”. (NB: The sign for “quartz” and “zircon” is only differentiated by the angle of one’s pinky finger. I clearly didn’t make mine obtuse enough.)
Given an extensive tour of the city, taken to a tailor to get fancy dresses made, then proceeded to enjoy the celebrations. Lord Vandree had a second dress made for a lady not with our party.
First night was the Festival of Lights which was… bright. Spent time listening in on conversations more than enjoying the light show. The Shadows helped keep me out of scrutinizing eyes but perhaps the absence was noted for the head of security – the cassowary aarakocra listed above – made a point of “enjoying the festivities”.
As if being in the spotlight is something to be desired.
Madam Miriam, as it turns out, is a renowned warrior in D’Avalon – and has possible intimate relations with the current King in the past/present. (NB: For a full list of notes/observations and how-things-work, refer to included Appendix A)
The main event, a masquerade ball, was enjoyable, albeit a bit too opulent. Dancing with everyone of note, including the cassowary aarakocra, was probably the best part of the whole thing.
Report passed on3 day of The Flowering 30 day of the Flowering.

To the Mighty Adventurer Community,
The King of D’Avalon, His Lordship Verin Montilyet has formally invited representatives of your community to partake in the celebrations that have been planned in the wake of the recent saving of the city by some of your colleagues. The celebrations will be over two days ending in a grand masquerade ball within the palace.
The King has graciously organised that the royal tailors will outfit the representatives that arrive with no expense spared with what you wish to have.
