Continuing the aftermath of Sticks and Stones

“Being alone with my thoughts is strange. There’s so much to think about. Am I dead? If this is death, death is weird then. I didn’t think I could remember so much”, Celina thinks to herself. Celina starts pondering on some of the mysterious of life. The following thoughts come to her randomly.

“The only time the word “incorrectly” isn’t spelled incorrectly is when it’s spelled incorrectly”

“What if our brain is a parasite controlling our body?”

.
.
“Nothing is ever on fire. Fire is on things”

While Celina is in the middle of her last thought, all of a sudden there’s a bright light. Then… she can finally feel her hands and her legs. Her eyes take a moment to adjust but yes, Celina can feel her body. She can finally feel her body come alive again. “My god this feels so good”, Celina thinks happily. When her eyes finally adjust she can she a very familiar face of the beautiful Halfling she’s met before, Merla the Princess of Summer.
In a confused daze, Celina notices she has an apple in her hand. And she spots so many flowers and grass placed all around her. Celina decides to ask Merla what happened and if she was dead? Merla politely laughs and advises she’s not dead. Merla then mentions to Celina that she had turned into a statue. She begins to tell her the events of what she knew. Merla heard that Celina was brought into the Temple of Selune by Ivan. The strong barbarian carried her in and placed apples in her hands. She heard that a drow called Vi and a half orc called Varga came and visited her while she was a statue. Vi was insisting on people carrying Celina correctly so she wouldn’t lose any toes or fingers. Then the half orc came in and she had said something like “Well, she’s dead” staring at her statue. Celina smiled hearing all of these stories. Then Merla points to the Halfling that’s asleep in the temple. Merla mentioned that she noticed this Halfling here for a while. Celina immediately noticed the familiar face of Kelne, who is fast sleep right now. Then it dawns on Celina and she thinks to herself, “Ahhh it must have been Kelne who did all the flowers and stuff”. Merla then mentions to Celina that she was the one that was able to unpetrify her. Celina was so shocked. “The Princess of Summer managed to take time out of her day to help me?”. Celina stunned and overwhelmed with the news she immediately thanks Merla.
“You don’t have to compliment me so Celina. I’m glad I could help you. In the future, if someone you know is in need, and you are able to help them, I hope you would do something similar”, Merla says.
Celina pauses for a few moments letting those words sink in and finally replies with a smirk “Similar… yes most definitely”.
Before Merla leaves the Temple of Selune, Celina decides to take out a fresh apple from her bag. "Please take this... it is just a normal apple but it's... ehh the least I can... give you... as a thank you for... for you know... saving me.... and all....", Celina says very awkwardly and Celina goes to place the apple in Merla's hand before she can refuse and then waves goodbye to her.
Celina decides to then head over to the sleeping Kelne. “I am so glad she is alive and well. Let me think what I can do here. I don’t want to wake her”, Celina wonders to herself. Celina searches for something to write with in the temple but can’t think of anything immediate. “How can I wite a message?”, Celina thinks to herself and then she gets a brain wave. Celina spends a few minutes doing something and then carefully places an item into Kelne’s pocket as stealthy as she can, as to not wake up the Halfling. If Kelne were to look in her pocket she would find an apple with the words “CELINA <3” carved into it.
Celina then decides to leave the temple and makes her way back to beloved Port Ffirst. “Dammit there’s so many people that are friends with you. Ivan, Vi, Varga and Kelne… Merla. Probably more, this is weird… dammit we’re going to have to do something to thank them for this in… some sort of way”, Celina thinks to herself while sighing, however it fades quickly and turns into a smile.
Sorry for the late post of this but I did want to add a thank you to everyone who helped and offered to help bring Celina back from a statue <3
And I will add a special thanks to Merla, Kelne, Vi, Ivan, Varga, Oziah... ohhh and Toby (GM) for not totally killing her
