In the time I have been in Daring, I have been aware that we do not have one main location for the information we collectively know and gather.
I sit in my room, studying into the small hours working with the books I have obtained in our travels, whilst I am aware Aurelia has her own collections that some of you have used in your research. Whilst the town hall has some history books and municipal records, but all of these sources are lacking.
In all our recent adventures we have often had to learn about our enemy on the job. When i suspect there is knowledge outside of this town that, with prior knowledge, could give us the edge in adventures to come.
I therefore propose we build a library for Daring. A single point where we can collect all of our knowledge, from history to the arcane. A place we can create a Bestiary of those we have fought, there we can record our knowledge of our foes weaknesses so that others may learn and prosper from these.
This can also be a place for us to celebrate our adventures in tome rather than through the tales we tell in taverns, or notes we scratch down on old scraps of parchment.
If built, I, for one, would be happy to fund adventurers to retrieve books of lore or books of the arcane, that I feel would be useful to the towns populace.
So what do you all say? Until now we have funded projects for the accrual or wealth, or strength, or faith. What now of the accrual of knowledge?
