Baine’s oldest friend Thea has stopped responding to his letters. This is worrisome. In the not too distant future, Baine will go back to Aschenwald to figure out why. When he leaves, he will take several scrolls of Sending with him, and will promise to stay in touch. After several days of Sending Silence, a single message will eventually reach the Grandmaster of the Order of the Crimson Fist:
“Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuck. Ah, shit. Fuck. Um. Help. What? FUCK.”
Baine will probably need some help.
