Adventures of Baby Rogue
Once upon a time, there was beautiful Baby Rogue. She was born a glorious red skinned tiefling with silver hair. This Baby Rogue was the fairest Baby Rogue across all the lands, for non could match her intelligence, dexterity or stealth. One day, Baby Rogue woke up in a strange and peculiar place she had never seen before. She found out this was called the 'Feywild'. Even more interesting were the people she encountered immediately there. She first came across an old dashing tiefling in a tux, she found out his name was Faust. Next, there was a glorious-looking tiefling, wearing an eye-patch and had magnificent large wings. His name was Arkadius. Following this, a tired and sleepy looking blue skinned half elf, dressed oddly in pajamas was called Osborin. And last but not least, a sweet beautiful looking halfling dressed in beautiful clothing. She was called Merla, who also had an equally stunning unicorn steed named Astra. She learnt that these people were part of a famous mythical group known in these lands as 'The Bards'. 'The Bards' took pity on Baby Rogue for she appeared too meek and helpless to survive in these new lands all by herself. They decided to accept Baby Rogue into their group and off the group went on their merry ways. And adventure they did. Song and laughter filled through the air each day and night. They decided to go by a new name ‘The Bards and Baby Rogue’.
Out on one of their travels, they came across a powerful Queen by the name of Titania. She was in fact, the Queen of Summer and was seeking aid against the evil armies of Winter. The quest was simple, assist in reclaiming of a fort which was rightfully hers. Treasure and gold were promised as a reward. Little did the group know, Merla was found out to be hiding a secret. For Merla was no normal member of 'The Bards and Baby Rogue', she was in fact Princess Merla. Daughter of Summer! And this was her mother who was requesting this mission. The whole group were stunned by the new revelation. However, Princess Merla wanted to remain a valiant member of the party. She didn’t want to be treated any differently. All members of the group agreed to honour this and referred to her without the princess title. Things quickly went quickly back to normal, as normal could be.
'The Bards and Baby Rogue’ agreed they were up for the challenge given by the Queen. Baby Rogue would have even done it for free, for silly things like gold did not enter into her mind when given such an important quest. For honour and duty would be more rewarding. The Queen decided to also send some of her soldiers to assist with the task. The Amber Duchess led this army. However, these soldiers were incredibly jealous of 'The Bards and Baby Rogue’s fearsome reputation. The soldiers decided to split off separately and agreed they would meet at the fort at a later stage when they had a better plan. Heroically, 'The Bards and Baby Rogue’ continued on the long journey ahead.
Journey they did, for the group walked for many miles, climbed many hills and even braved the freezing cold depths of icy lakes. Finally, they arrived at the base of the fort of winter. Looking at the fort in front of them, the group were completely stuck on what to do. For one had not seen a complex fort before, but luckily Baby Rogue had. She shared her knowledge and the group begged Baby Rogue to use her keen mind to come up with and amazing plan for them. For she knew was the smartest person within their group. Baby Rogue took a moment to weigh up all her options and she single-handedly came up with a plan. She concluded that the best course of action would be to split the party into three groups. One group would have Merla & Astra to target one side of the fort and Arkadius was to target on the other side. Both of these plans were to attack the enemies and cause a distraction. While this would be happening the remain team would handle the most important and key part of the plan, to make sure the gate on the fort remains open...forever. Merla and Arkadius fought gloriously against the powerful enemy. The plan was working as expected and allowed Faust, Osborin and Baby Rogue an opportunity to sneak in. However, things quickly took a turn for the worst for these three. For what these heroes did not know that there were a handful of guards left at the post stationed at the gate. The enemies started attacking ferociously and appeared to be too strong for our heroes. Faust and Osborin battled with all their magical abilities and held off these soldiers with all their might. They decided to selflessly sacrifice themselves so Baby Rogue could complete the most important part of the mission. Overwhelmed by their selflessness and with a single tear rolling down her face, she turned away from her friends and focused on her task. Baby Rogue knew what she had to do, for this was her destiny. With her amazing speed and stealth abilities, she targeted where the lock on the gate was. She went in with her tools kit and with one single action Baby Rogue broke the lock on the gate for good. With the gate down the enemies' main source of winter energy was depleted. All the winter soldiers surrendered and with that ‘The Bards and Baby Rogue’ had saved the day. All thanks to their amazing member Baby Rogue and her knowledge and skills.
The Queen was so impressed with the work, she rewarded the team with plenty of treasure and gold. Everyone was so ecstatic that the Amber Duchess even agreed to go on a date with Oborin. For he was a glorious warrior in her eyes and they would make a happy couple. A week later he proposed to her and she said yes. Happiness rang throughout all the land and their wedding was beautiful.
So ends our happy tale here, with the wicked winter banished for good. Love in the air and another happy adventure for ‘The Barbs and Baby Rogue’. And they all lived happily ever after.
The End.
Celina was back in her shop ‘Appley Ever After’, after Arkadius kindly made a portal for her to go directly to Port Ffirst from the Feywild. Celina looked at her hand written story, impressed with her tale and smiled to herself 'Yes, this is exactly how it happened'. She had in fact gone to the 'Feywild' and managed to come back. She remembers that morning when she saw her familiar friend Faust, who she had adventured with on her first day. After that it’s a little blurry. But it had been an interesting day. 'Maybe these facts are a... little stretched with the truth. Who is going to argue?', she grinned to herself. Maybe she might make this a bigger story another day? For who knows what else is in store for this mysterious Baby Rogue....
