Elias once again journeyed into the woods to find a fairie circle. They moved quickly, a small pouch of different coloured stones giving a little click clack was the only sound they made.
Once they found the little circle of mushrooms they carefully placed the stones, the moonstones laying out the co-ordinates that their mother would follow to find them. Once placed they stood, taking a complex route to the location, making sure nobody was following them and carefully ensuring any tracks they left were confusing and would send anyone following them of on a wild goose chase.
By the time they arrive there was no sign of her. But of course there wasn’t she would never be seen until she was ready. There is a polite clear of the throat and Elias turns to see her cold blue icy eyes that matched Elias’ fixed on them. Elias smiled to them, they were not met with a similar response but they did not take it personally. They had hoped for a smile in response, a hint of joy at seeing them again… but in all honesty they were not sure that Lady Silence could smile. But Elias was here for business, so they strode forward, preparing to pitch their idea.

The Lady of Silence is still, taking in the words. “The Queen will be amenable to your request. In fact, I am confident that the Queen will put her full weight behind such an initiative.” Elias smiles. Finally some progress… they had been starting to doubt themselves. They worried that Merla was right and the Feywild could only be brought together by the force Titania was preparing. This… this was going to change everything and bring the Feywild as together as it could be. “You may start acting on this. If you are prepared to do it.”
Elias gives a deep Winter Court bow “I would be delighted to lead the charge on this cause, I am glad you and Queen Morinn see the benefits of the plan.” Elias searches her unmoving face for any sign, any tick that might indicate that they are happy but even Merla couldn’t read Lady Silence so Elias knew they had little hope.
“The Queen will make this announcement at the right time, but it will require careful planning, as such things need to be handled delicately.” Then the Lady Silence raised an eyebrow and the edge of her mouth twitches ever so slightly upward. Wait… was that a smile? “Choosing to use your boon for the cause of the Feywild over the freedom of Olithia... I am proud of you. You have made a hard decision, but you have chosen to focus on the big picture, rather than the small; the Greater Good, rather than your personal desire. I thought your time on the Material Plane might have softened you, but in fact it has made you harder in your convictions. You are everything I could have asked for in my child.”
Elias feels their heart swell with joy as each word leaves her lips. A single tear falls down their cheek. “Thank you mother.” They think about moving to give her a hug but instead move to leave. It is perhaps too soon for that but Elias takes comfort in her words. “I will return to you with good news.”
