Rolled into a palm sized tube is a piece of nondescript parchment around a notice from the Adventure Board in Fort Ettin. The parchment is written in a mix of common, symbols, and elvish.

Disko Bennisar – enchanter, eladrin, male
Arwani Yalgreen – mage (necromancer?), eladrin, female
Locations:
Fort Ettin – living location, home base for adventurers
Equinox – city in the Twilight Court
Incarnatum – Kithrin Harthlas’ floating home, large half sculpture of woman
Twilight Palace – lower levels, prison area
Body:
As before, Jenna, the portal mage who resides at Fort Ettin facilitated our plane shift to the Twilight Realm, to the city of Equinox. None of the party – Osborin, Oziah, Anwyn, Carnán and Cam – knew where the Incarnatum but upon asking one of the locals were given directions: find a boat for the home of the ‘Twilight Incarnate’ is a floating one, never affixed to one place. Made it to the edge of one portion of the city where we were flagged down by a privateer hired by Kithrin Harthlas to bring us to her sanctum. (NB: She allegedly hired many such boatmen and women but only one would get paid for the job of bringing us to her.)
Were greeted by one of the household, eladrin named Fellow, who brought us into Harthlas’ magnificent mansion. Oziah, clearly a mercenary used to being a “sword for hire” seemed most comfortable in the opulent halls we were all escorted through. She also made a point of telling all to “be processional”. (NB: A bold statement coming from someone who, later on, nearly got caught out on this jailbreak.)
Met with Harthlas directly where she asked each in the party what our greatest talents were.
Mention of the critical election coming up in the Twilight Court and Harthlas stated she is one of the front runners. Explained everyone is seeking to win, but where others would steal or take away votes she wished to add votes to the pile.
This was where our group came in: We were to break into the Twilight Palace and extract one Disko Bennisar. He was described to us as an enchanter but was “caught up in a few smuggling things”. He has been imprisoned since before the late Queen Sarastra’s death but with his sentence almost being up, Harthlas wanted to see him released sooner in order to provide the votes necessary to see her win the throne. Carnán expressed his dislike of the job and though Oziah made a point of questioning his desire to still do it, the firbolg said he still would.
Harthlas then gave us the method by which we would be able to sneak into the Palace: find one of the supply submarines in the warehouse ward, sneak on as stowaways or pose a legitimate crew and “help” load and unload the cargo for that day’s delivery. Oziah and Cam chose the latter, nearly getting caught in their deception by one of the crew, whilst the rest stuck to the Shadows. Once onboard, we waited patiently hidden away for the subversive ship’s arrival at the Palace.
Oziah and Cam took Anwyn out by having them hide in a crate whilst the others once again kept to the Shadows. There were a few blunders on the part of Carnán (NB: This more to do with the fact that the nature warrior is not used to being stealthy, however soft spoken he may be. The Shadows can only do so much if one’s armour, or even spatial awareness, is too dense.) but, eventually, the team managed to get out of the loading dock and into the lower levels of the Palace. However we would not be able to exit the palace that way as too many of the party’s overs were blown – namely Oziah, Cam and Carnán’s.
Discreetly, the group made our way to the prison where two Nimblewright sentries were keeping guard. Oziah attempted to make them weaker, but it only served to alert them to our presence. A small skirmish ensued in which the holy warrior proceeded to get injured rather badly though she managed to take out one of the mechanical sentries. Carnán, by use of the nature spirits he summoned and with his magic staff, finished off the other. (NB: Own contributions were such that bone-hilt blade was more efficient in taking away their life over any hand-to-hand combat. This due to its magical properties perhaps. Will train more to see if mastery of Shadows can be applied to such attacks in the future.)
Proceeded to break Disko Bennisar out of his cell. The enchanter was wearing a mask with the symbol of Ioun on it. This was being used to syphon his knowledge on enchantment magic but also identified him as a criminal of the most deadly variety.
Another prisoner, Arwani Yalgreen, caught the eye of Osborin – promising him a magic flute if he helped her escape. This being the same noblewoman who had an entire village of pixies killed for moving on to her estate, and then reanimating them as servants afterwards. One way or another the verse maker was going to free her. The decision to assist in picking the lock to her jail was an in the moment one and something that cannot be explained beyond the sooner we left after our skirmish, the better.
Knowing our method of arrival was not going to be the way we would exit, but having been in the Twilight Palace before, We decided to lead the two prisoners and the group back up through the palace and exit out the front door. With the help of the Shadows all were able to blend into the crowd and exit unhindered by the guards – though they did, once again, notice Carnán, but only remarking that he is a firbolg, nothing more.
Bennisar revealed in part why he had been imprisoned: As a master enchanter, he had been approached by liches – number unknown. These undead had required fancier phylacteries. No other information was gleaned.
Yalgreen was escorted back to her estate and handed over the promised flute to Osborin. It is a Night Caller, possibly a tool she used herself to reanimate the pixies she had enslaved in undeath.
Finally, success of the mission was then passed on to Harthlas herself in which she rewarded the group with gold and useful magical items. No one mentioned Yalgreen’s libration to Harthlas.
Upon waiting for teleportation back to Fort Ettin, revealed the origins of Yalgreen’s imprisonment, much to the shock of all.
Report passed on 22 day of The Claw of Sunsets.
Neh diis lus’a, lus diis’a.
Dear Dawnlanders,
I understand I have you to thank for recent developments. I’d like to return the favour with more work – well paid and vital. Come see me at my home, the Incarnatum. Bring your quiet shoes.

Met with Harthlas directly where she asked each in the party what our greatest talents were.
- Cam – a weaver by hobby, but proficient in magic proficiency
- Anwyn – strong fighter, “Hopefully just the backup plan.”
- Osborin – Harthlas claimed to have heard of him before, asked him for a song whilst the rest of us were interviewed.
- P.D. – Gave the name of Delilah and talent as, “One with the Shadows when needs must.”
- Oziah – “A professional”, skill with a blade and some magic, well rounded
- Carnán – the Last Guardian of the Autumn Grove
