With all the recent adventures and the current build-up for the forthcoming campaign against the Twilight folk many adventurers will have failed to notice that Grimes' usual shaded corner seat at the Three Headed Ettin has been unoccupied for a while. He has now been spotted again at the inn but he is limping heavily and has a well-crafted splint on his left leg. As everyone has come to expect, Grimes does not disclose readily but he has grudgingly divulged to a couple of trusted associates (Leocanto and Nix surprisingly) that a couple of hired killers hunting Grimes came into Daring Heights. Grimes evaded them and followed them back to the old continent. It was a trap. Grimes survived and dispatched 4 assassins drawing on skills and spells recently acquired in Kantas but volunteered the information that "the bastards nearly cut my damned hamstring in half in the process!" Grimes is waiting for Val and Rholor to draw breath before offering advice and support. Obviously he's not going to be any good in a fight for a considerable time but wants to contribute and make suggestions about effective reconnaissance - especially investigating start and end points of the Twilight gorge, infiltration, hitting hard at weak spots and multi-front assaults. Basically fight dirty. ======================================================================================================= Real-life story - I've knackered my knee - stuck at home as travelling to and from London from Dorset is too painful - and I need to be local every Tuesday throughout September for local Theatre company rehearsals. Gutted I might miss the "big push" cheers Peter aka Grimes
