Objective:
Assist Faye Persona in information retrieval mission within the Winter Court.

Details:
Team gathered in morning hours at Fort. Warned that our presence in Winter Court will need to be discrete. Disguises, both magical and material, donned by entire team.
Sheryl Plane Shifted team to outskirts of Winter Court, landscape a thick blanket of white from active snow blizzard. After ~1 hour of travel a magical protective dome discovered housing two pixies by names of May and Kay. Myself and Igrainne took up defensive positions nearby as rest of team approached, though they concluded that the pair were not a threat. One was a painter.
With accompanying pixies we continued on to the Winter Court. On closer inspection I can declare the city is built upon a large glacier, fronted by a supposedly permanently frozen lake, its perimeter fence covered in large sturdy icicles. Entrance guarded by very tall white furred person named the Gatekeeper.
Faye announced to the Gatekeeper that our group was visiting a Artemis Lahali. This name registered and we were granted entrance. Once inside noted the city is built on a gradual slope, with buildings further from gate at a higher elevation, achieved through fact that city is carved into the side of mountain with a ice cavern ceiling that refracts all light that enters. Recommend taking a few moments to acclimate to the bright refracting light once inside.
House of Artemis located on higher elevation in city according to Faye’s information, so team proceeded to location to find this person does still live there. After a conversation with Faye team granted access to house by Artemis Lahali. May and Kay persuaded to leave group and graffiti town walls as prank with minimal destructive properties.
(Note. At this point Pieni pulled a magic badger out from a small felt bag, then proceeded to transfer care over to me. I was partially distracted for majority of conversation in house).
Information was attempted to be extracted from Artemis (an old friend of Faye’s apparently) about a group named the Cabalites and the location of Faye’s family. Artemis noted the rarity of the Cabalites in the Winter Court and that further information would likely be retrieved from the Snow Queen’s archivists, the Ladies of Secrets. (Note. This man was full of lies, but his information on the archivists did appear genuine).
Team departed house and approached tower that contained the Ladies of Secrets, this tower is located outside the glacier cavern of city via a climb of steep elevation. Would recommend climbing pitons.
Tower was hollowed out large icelcie, inside lined with bookshelves that seemed to go on for infinity upwards. Team stealthed in to find two floating Eladrin figures attending to the bookshelves above us. One was very pale with white hair, eyes covered by a scarf. The other was mostly bone and eyes two piercing pinpricks of blue light. Deeming them not a threat we announced our presence and they greeted us with neutrality.
There was an exchange of secrets between certain members of the group, information we learned pertained to the name of individual who took Commander Morningdew’s life and the location of Faye’s mother. (Information I have not included in this report due to its supposed sensitive nature, though I’m not sure if anyone actually tracks my post).
After this exchange, the two Ladies casually informed us the Queen very much knew of our presence already and that forces were on their way. Team evacuated tower immediately on backs of various winged steeds and Pieni’s summoned large eagles (Ghesh did contemplate just jumping off side of mountain, he was certain he could survive the fall. Note to never approach Ghesh in close-combat half-heartedly).
Descending rapidly down the mountainside we were pursued by armed group of Winter Court soldiers, our escape aided by the successful distraction techniques of May and Kay. Once outside warded zone of Winter Court, Sheryl successfully Plane Shifted us away to safety of the Fort on the Material Plane.
Conclusion:
Faye and Sheryl both seemed to have collected information within the house of Artemis and within the archive of the Ladies of Secrets.
Secrets are as valuable currency in the Winter Court as gold is here.
