Having entered the generator room of Zariel's flying tower the six members of the infiltration team are presented with a group of four Genie children who prove to be:
- Sorte, a standoffish Efreeti
- Selki, a seal Marid who can't get enough of adventurer stories
- Turnus, an artist Dao in awe of the beauty of the magical generator
- Miriam, a Djinni who just wants to go with the flow and be with her friends
The group splits up to speak to each Genie, attempting separately to convince them to leave Zariel's "protection" so that the generator can be shut down.
Events of the evening involved:
- An attempt to convince Sorte that owning a copy of the game Boggle is the true sign of a hero, to which he responded with a wish to obtain his own copy.
- A picnic involving Pieni's Goodberry Jam and Zariel's famous Devil Food Cake. Food was thrown.
- Turnus being introduced to the concept of paintings by Cadfan, to which Turnus was overawed.
- The discovery that Sorte just wants to be liked but is convinced the other genies don't like him.
- Selki being shown illusory images of Ghesh and Anwyn to show him that dragons can be friendly by Alenea. Along with a tour through an illusory diorama of Daring Heights to show him the various places around town.
Together they formed The Copper Band Band and agreed to simultaneously dropped their efforts to maintain the generator.
Using a sending scroll the group then contacted Wendy to request exac. Which unfortunately is not available within the bounds of the tower, the group need to find a way off the tower whilst it is in the air.
From here the infiltration team, with the CBB in tow, stealthed, jumped, distracted, and smokebomb'd their way through Zariel's tower to reach a tower captain's office which included a balcony all the while chased by an evergrowing throng of demons.
Reaching the balcony the group waits as demons attempt to batter down the door to the office as Laurel writes in the sky informing the armies at the portal that the generator has been disabled and that they must evacuate immediately.
As the door to the office breaks down a tear in the air over the balcony side opens and the infiltration team leap through onto the cobbles of Portal Plaza.
