---
Written on the front of a thick manilla folder containing a few sheets of paper and a few books
Dr Cut Nippius
Status: At Large
---
Attempted Apprehension date:
6 Eleasis, 1497
Dr Cut Nippius is a tentacled being presumed to still be residing within Port Ffirst.
On 6 Eleasis, 1497, the Thirsty Dragon was found ransacked by myself (Kyra Marsh), Blaze, Bugloss, Zephyren, Pip, and Aidan. Upon inspection all cats within the cat cafe were discovered to have been kidnapped. Following the trail lead into the sewers of Port Ffirst where after extended exploration Dr Cut Nippius was discovered with numerous mind-controlled rats. When peaceful negotiations failed we attempted to apprehend the doctor.
These attempts at apprehension also failed as Dr Cut Nippius displayed the ability to teleport through unknown means.
All cats bar one were recovered and returned to the Thirsty Dragon unharmed.
Unfortunately Juju, a small kitten, had its brain removed and replaced with some form of quadrepedal brain creature which when removed from the kitten's head escaped. Through the deep application of my radiant healing abilities Juju was stabilized and is currently in the care of Port Ffirst clerics.
Notebooks recovered from his hideout in the Port Ffirst sewer system revealed extensive experimentation logs around the conversion of cats and rats into mind-controlled minions along with a private diary detailing his struggles balancing his desire to consume brains and research them.
Dr Cut Nippius' Capabilities include:
- The telepathic control of large quantities of rats
- Psychic defence against assailants
- Complex surgery on small animals, unknown if this extends to humanoids
- Highly complex teleportation magic capable of long distance instant transport.
---
A copy of a poster is included in the file, this poster was seen hung up on notice boards around Port Ffirst.
In the middle is a rough sketch of a tentacle faced Illithid wearing goggles. Below it is the following text:

- A cloaker leather diary with notes and drawings of the emotional journey of Dr Cut Nippius from scientific drive to research cranium rats, to triumph of dominating them to desperation to get rid of them intertwined with a constant battle with hunger for brains.
