Dock duty again.
Apprehended smuggler bringing untaxed wine from Waterdeep into Port Ffirst.
He tried to bribe me.
I dumped his wine in the dock.
Spent evening in old town playing cards.
Barkeep ejected me after apprehending card cheat and justly reprimanding him in front of his peers.

Encountered Bullywug named G'Lish outside Thirsty Dragon. Suspect they were playing with the cats but cannot be sure.
G'Lish recognised me from the Frog Bog and was happy to be escorted back to the edge of town for their journey back to home.

Met Botts, Goblin from the Angelbark woods. Works in sewers.
Helpful if I need to go down there?

Spent day in Seashank bar meeting locals. Introduced myself to Jess Hinks and had a drink with her. Might try and see if I can catch her at the docks tomorrow.

19th of Kythorn
Patrolled new town. Ran into Botts as they left sewers, had a chat. Need to get that Goblin a bath.
Gang of three thieves arrested as they fled towards old town. Stolen merchandise returned to shopkeepers. They said this was the third time this month and I was the first guard to help. Someone mentioned a masked thief. Worth investigating?
How can I help properly?

Preached the justice of Lord Tyr to the populous.
Met with a feuding family and attempted to mend the rift. Tensions remain but the grown son was grateful for my mediation. May be able to call in a favour here.

5th of Flamerule
Returned to old town to spread the faith. Ran into group of men looking for work, directed them to docks.
Hope they find something.
