Dear Lady Vermillion,
I hope this letter finds you in good health, and on behalf of my friends I wanted to thank you once again for your assistance with our mission within Sigil.
As time was something we could not waste, I feel that we didnât have much of an opportunity to communicate about what happened while we were in Sigil (even as I pen this letter time is still somewhat a precious thing so I apologise if these words seem a little rushed).
Our invitations to the House of Wondrous Pleasures were accepted and we were able to enter without any issues. Noone suspected the disguises and we were very much believed to be cultists of Zariel herself.
We originally planned to use Balâtazânarrâs love of Soul Wine as a way to insult and infuriate them enough that they would follow us to Avernus. Though the others certainly put on quite the convincing act, it wasnât quite anger inducing enough for them to hunt us down.
So we enacted a secondary plan, of transforming their succubus companion Amunett into a badger and making it known to Balâtazânarr that we had fled with her to Avernus. When we were all actually hiding and waiting in the meditation room.
Though I had managed to distract Amunett enough that her transformation occurred away from Balâtazânar, it was partly noticed by a member of the pixie band âBerry and the Bouldersâ. That was luckily smoothed over very swiftly.
Then with impressive performances from my friends Balâtazânar bought into this lie and made it very vocal that they would be charging into Avernus to find us.
I do hope the âbadgerâ did not give you any difficulties once the spell wore off, apologies if so. Perhaps all this information will help you in dodging any potential fall-out from our endeavours, but not to say there should be any coming your way.
I very much look forward to re visiting and discussing both gardening and serpent gods with you. We may even be able to discuss what will have grown from the pot by then.
Much Love,
BB
BB pauses and scrutinises her writing, paper precariously placed on the cleaner side of her mud stained spell book. Apparently happy with the letter she rolls it up tightly and pops it into the spell scroll case usually attached to her belt.
She looks up at the war camp and her friends around her, then further still to the twisted landscape that surrounds them. Fully acknowledging the overwhelming presence of fire and death she cannot help the sharp feeling of fear that spikes deep into her heart.
