Augustine can't put it off anymore. The temple is finished and now her work begins. She's gone it alone for so many years that it takes her a few days of meditation and prayers to accept that running a temple by herself simply isn't an option. If she starts spreading the word and people start coming for help, for prayers and guidance, for a community in the presence of the Forest Father, then she can't be the only one here. Her reluctance and detrimental pride must shine through as she speaks to a few familiar faces around town - not many are enthusiastic. Most have a faith already, are too busy with their own affairs and troubles, or just wary of this relative stranger. Eventually she gives up and trudges back towards the temple, the rain and wind whipping around her. As she reaches the edge of the forest, the winds grow strong enough to stop her in her tracks for a moment. She bends her head low and growls in frustration, almost stomping her foot in the muddy ground, when a voice reaches her on the air. "It'll get easier, my darling."
Like a gentle hand to her cheek, the wind turns her head for her to look over her shoulder before it lessens in its howling. Some distance down the path, a figure in long red robes is approaching. As Augustine waits, they catch up quickly and she is approached by a woman in her 40's with greying dark hair in a messy fishbone braid and burgundy eyes. When she reaches Augustine she nods with a no-nonsense expression on her face. "Hello, Madame. I'm Rani. Show me the temple and we'll get started." Religious service spent trying to inform and welcome the Darites of and to the newly erected temple of Silvanus. Rolled a total 10 on the religion check, gained one (1) NPC.
