My past is a mystery to me. During a torrential storm late last summer two scouts found me, wandering in a daze. I could remember almost nothing, not even my name. One of the scouts, an older Elven man, named me Tyarrna* because of the circumstances of my sudden appearance and took me back to daring Heights. I've adjusted well to life here, living and training in the guardhouse, eventually taking up work as a guard myself. And that's how things could have stayed if the dreams did not haunt me. I awake almost every night desperately trying to grasp the remains of the nights vision. They are all so real, fragments of happiness, a warm stone Monastery, friends, and a sensation of pain and loss. Somewhere in the expanse lie the answers to my past.
*translated to common, this Elven name means "to cause the storm"

From the journal of Sef. 11/06 Since the trails at the Monastery in the marsh, I have been having weird dreams. Dreams seem to soft a term for these vivid experiences. The setting is a familiar mix of places I've been to here in Kantos and Daring Heights, only distorted and joined together. The 3 Heads would extend vertically into the Tower of Shah and over look the Frog-Folks marsh; The People's would spread in all directions like a maze to the horizon while notes in Draconic fall like autumn leaves, smouldering as they fall in a language I cannot read. A Crow calls to me and tries to guide me through these places until I find a someone. There are three of them, they never appear together but the crow always guides me to one before I wake. One is a Bugbear man, much like the spectral combatants from the Marsh; the second is a Hobgoblin women; the third is creature like I've never seen before, like a man becoming a dragon, huge and powerful. In each encounter we are watched by someone in the darkness, but all I can see of them are their eyes; they look like a reptiles and seem like they're waiting like a snake waits for prey to come close before it strikes.
