Kantas Mission Report #002
Objective:
Help with farm maintenance and bullywug extermination
Retrieve daughter (Sarah) of Mr. Levison. Mr Levison suspects the gang of farmhands he recently hired for her disappearance.
Team:
Laurel- a halfling with soothing goat spirit guardians
Ms. Leek- a heavily armored goliath with good convictions
Levion- an elf trained in enhanced archery
Mathew- a magical musician with an exploding flute
Ren- a straight forward thinking woman with super speed
Details:
Initially hired via an advert in Port Ffirst by Mr Levison, met the rest of the team in this location. Proceeded to Levison farmstead where we met with Mr. Levison.
We questioned him on the advert for work, this is when he revealed the real reason for wanting to hire adventurers. Informed us that the gang of workers he had hired had a disagreement with him on payment, he thought this might be the reason for them taking his daughter.
Ms Leek and I investigated Sarah’s room. The remaining team members investigated the rest of the house and the surrounding land.
Sarah’s room showed no signs of struggle. Any personal effects had also been removed. Others reported footsteps leading from outside the room’s window into town.
Further questioning of Mr.Levison revealed no known motivations for Sarah to runaway to town. He mentioned an acquaintance who apprenticed at a tailor’s in town.
Mathew and Levion were concerned for Mr. Levison’s safety, so we stayed overnight and kept watch if the gang decided to come back.
Night watch occurred with no incident.
Proceeded into town to continue investigation. Talking to the tailor’s apprentice and shop owner (shop called Silken Thread) gave no information on Sarah’s whereabouts. They did give information on the gang that supposedly kidnapped her. They call themselves the Dandies, wear single large feather in their hats, and have a strong reputation for disruptive behaviour and high fashion. They also informed us of a hat shop they purchase the feather hats from.
Proceeded to this hat shop. No sign of Dandies. Learnt from shopkeeper the name of the group’s leader. Ralph Seamore, nicknamed Goldie. Also learnt the location of barbershop they use frequently, run by a man named Buzz.
At this point, tensions were high between some team members, the shopkeeper had also been given quite a fright, so we quickly proceeded to the barbers.
Once there Ren entered under the ruse that she was a paying customer, while trying to gain information on the Dandies and Sarah. Laurel, Mathew and Levion were on watch duty outside and the rest of the team were in the barbershop. At this point Levion informs us that the Dandies are rapidly approaching the barbers.
Once inside immediately confirmed Sarah is with the Dandies, in fact she is dating one of the gang members called Ben who was also present in the barbershop. Ren gets Buzz to leave and tries to convince the gang that herself, Ms. Leek and I are all apprentices of Buzz. This fails.
Before any more information can be communicated, Levion and Mathew are inside the shop and Sarah has been scared away by Mathew. Ren chased after Sarah at almost inhuman speed.
Fight ensures inside barbershop between remaining team and gang members.
All gang members and Ben are incapitated but kept stabilised. Ben manacled and questioned. Talked about concern for Sarah in the Clubhouse, also mentioned a yellow door and lady in relevance to its location in new town. Then proceeded to fall unconscious.
Soon after this incident the towns guard arrive, including the Captain of the guard. Inform Captain of events leading up to the incident. They do not arrest us. They do take the unconscious Ben away.
Mathew and Laurel proceed to repair barbershop via magical means.
Ren arrives back, informs us that just as they caught up to Sarah they were knocked unconscious by Goldie who suddenly emerged from an alleyway. When they awoke both Goldie and Sarah were gone.
Inform Mr. Levison of events. He was disappointed that we didn’t have Sarah with us and was almost in denial that she had joined gang willingly.

Retrieval of Sarah unsuccessful.
Discovering events that resulted in Sarah’s disappearance successful.
The Dandies and their leader Goldie still at large. Further investigation required.
