[summary writeup] [also I forgot my notebook yesterday, hence lack of details! Main plot points are there I hope]
- Sheryl led the team on a mission to Kul Goran (with Bones, Laurel, TinyStorm and Kalter). Aim: to find a musical weapon to help the fight against kul goran (and something for Sheryl too!)
- We blagged our way into the teleportation circle in Daring Heights
- Following up on a lead Sheryl had, we went to the Kul Guran National Orchestra Theatre (KNOT) to speak with the conducter Nimbus
- Nimbus knew of a giant organ designed as a weapon of war by a previous conductor and famour bard. But, it was in their tomb.
- We went to the tomb to get it. We encountered some pretty nasty traps, a riddle, and a hobgoblin / lizard horde who we dispatched of with some difficulty. Highlights: Laurel turning into a goat and headbutting an already on-fire lizardfolk off a stairwell with the pseudo justification that it 'helped him die less painfully'. Other highlight - kalter managing to burning hands about 6 goblins in one turn.
- We eventually recovered the weapon/organ. We are unsure of what it does exactly but we understand it may channel magic in a way that might help against the storm giant. It was too big to carry out but the people of Kul Goran will now secure it.
