Fjell approaches a table in the back room of The Three-headed Ettin's ground floor, taking out a blade fashioned from a large piece of flint and starts scratching away at a spot in the right-hand corner of the table (from where you face it as you enter). Fjell approximates the distances of the other table markings to place his new mark; 4 actual days travel to the north and west beyond the western mountain range and into the badlands beyond.
"This is where the Kobold city of Kundar lies, a cosmopolitan oasis, one that Squeegum calls home." Fjell said as others followed in to the room seeing it was being added to.
"It is a place many, many times larger than Daring Heights, filled with beings that I had never seen before. There were Kobolds and Dragonborn policing the city, Tabaxi telling stories and selling wares–if you had the coin–and an ogre sat in a tavern drinking from an enviously large tankard made from a small cask. Much of the city is built for its major population, Kobolds, so Fjell tended to stay outside in the streets while they explored. Though there was one jewellery merchant who insisted that I try on a magic ring that changed the colour of my skin. An oddity to me, but I am certain someone else would find more useful. There were many, many other merchant stalls to explore, and often they were geared towards adventurers."
There was also a library that both Dorian and Nowhere took advantage of, as there was a landmark of interest that we found along the way"
Fjell makes a small mark on the table separate to his Kundar marking.
"That they wanted to see if there were any records for, as Squeegum was less than forthcoming about the landmark and wanted to give it a wide berth."
"The following day we were excitedly encouraged by Val to enter the gladiatorial arena where winning combatants were awarded 400gp. So we all entered, an exotic bunch and big crowd attraction. We had Squeegum place 2000gp on us to win, which was pooled from our own gold. That investment and my friends' prowess in the arena returned us twice as much after we stepped out of the arena victorious."
"A proper trade agreement is being set up between Kundar and Daring Heights, and in order to save the 4-day travel, we have exchanged the details of teleportation circles - which makes things much, much more accessible."
