A battered note arrives to taverns in Daring Heights and Port Ffirst. It is marked with seawater and the humidity-warped lettering cannot disguise a hand that clearly isn't used to writing in modern Common.
Friends! Fellow Darites and Ffirstians! It is I, Ginead the Green! It has been many monthes but I come to ye with great word. I implore ye to Take Up Armes and Set Saille across the channel of water. I and a few others have been helping a 'research outposte', named Pattergost, and some of the locales here, have been Set Upone in great and terrible fashion by Beastes of Unknowne Nature.
Come here and let us purge the darkness in this New Lande! Let us help the locals defend their knowledge! And also to justify mine owne recent life choices!
