So everyone is aware, Granny now has a fist sized green rock that may or may not be able to control the undead (it at the very least attracts them)
It was once embedded in my arm. But now it is not. Granny does not have my arm. I do.
Before this it was embedded in the chest of a 'corpse eater' -which, incase you are confused -is a creature that eats corpses.

Hello wise lady, I was wondering if you could tell me what this item is, I found it around the neck of a drow I believe it has something to do with their god, but it is an evil one so I wish to know if it is safe and what it can do.

Dvärgar / Gara, Granny is sorry she didn't get to your request before you set out, but you should know that I do not deal in magical arms and armaments. The local blacksmith would be the best place to go - but I don't know that they have the facilities at the moment. Morgan Reed now THIS is an interesting item. An oddly specific item too. Granny usually charges for identification like this, but this is particularly intriguing. This is a Torc of Greater Enhancement. It allows the wearer to split their concentration - each section of the torc can hold your concentration on one spell for you. However, it ONLY works on the Enhance Ability spell. Essentially, while wearing this item you would be able to concentrate on up to 8 instances of the Enhance Ability spell. It does not enable you to cast the spell - you have to know how to cast it yourself, and you still have to cast each separate spell, so it takes a lot of your daily magical power to fully utilise. Very interesting indeed - largely useless unless you really want to boost a group of people and do very little else with your day. Granny is a collector of oddments like this - so I would purchase it from you, if you would be willing.

Hmm although this items blasphemous origins disgust me its ability is very usefull. I wouldnt really wish to trade it for gold as that can be gotten rather easily. Instead i seem to have a problem with containing my comrades' excitement towards killing helpless creatures when i am trying to gather more information and also to communicate with angered opponents. Perhaps you have some sort of trinket or token that would aid me in doing so. Maybe something to passify someone or help them see things from my point of view?

Thank you for previously helping me to identify my air elemental familiar, Whoosh. However, I'm still having a rather difficult time trying to get Whoosh to do anything sensible in aiding my adventuring. Tell me, do you know of anything that might help me to improve it's responsiveness to my requests and behaviour? Something, or way that I can improve our bond?

Granny, I understand you are the person who may understand my plight, and shed some light on what is happening to me.
For many moons I have travelled in Daring Heights. In this time I have suffered the pain of having these chains fused to my flesh attached to the book on my back. A book neither I nor any other has been able to open.
Last night I went to rest, but instead I suffered a night of pain and agony. But now, for the first time, the book has opened. It has revealed its content to me - rituals, spells and cantrips I did not know. The power and knowledge it has given to me is..... addictive.
I come to you to beg your insight, to try and understand what this book is, and to try and discover if there are ways for me to learn more to put in this book.
