A note has been tacked to the board in the Three-Headed Ettin. A few lines have been written at the top by Aurelia before the actual note begins. " Daring Heights acknowledges this debt, and it appears they would prefer Adventurers to recompense them. Anyone who participates in fulfilling this debt to Vorsthold will be compensated by the Daring Treasury. - Aurelia ArchselonTo the representatives of Daring Heights,In the war against the Orcs, we lent aid in the form of arms and armour, on the understanding that Daring Heights would suitably compensate us with the labour of their 'adventurers' in a manner of our choosing. In the light of the unsuccessful nature of the war, and the repercussions since then, we have been generously patient with balancing this debt. This grace period has now elapsed. Please dispatch no less than 4 adventurers to Vorsthold within the season, and we shall give tasks to them for the benefit of Vorsthold and its populace which they will be required to complete. These tasks may include and are not limited to: excursions into the Underdark, raids on mind-flayer prisoner camps, beholder eradication, Drow intrigue. We await your representatives. The War Council of Vorsthold"(This quest will run in March probably) For information on Vorsthold, see our wikipedia here: www.worldanvil.com/w/the-kantas-expanse-londonrpgcommunitymain/a/vorsthold-article

(Loving the wiki!)
Recognising the diplomatic importance to Daring as well as the opportunity to further his own lines of personal and professional inquiry, Oriloki would approach Aurelia to offer his support on this.
He’d also notice the references to “Drow” and “Underdark” cropping up with ever-growing frequency in recent rumours and reports; and be keen to rule out any coincidence.

Varis feels compelled by duty to honour the war debt. He would also see this as an opportunity to destroy potential future threats to Daring in their nascent form, and would therefore offer his support to Aurelia in this.

This seems an excellent opportunity for Milo to help the people of Kantas, his calling, as well as experience a dwarven stronghold previously unknown to his people in Faerun. He may also learn more of what he is capable of as a cleric of Moradin.

Assuming the disease "situation" gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction, Sergeant Grimes will discuss with Captain Thundercog about joining the group. Grimes would welcome another opportunity to study Oriloki and also keep an eye on Varis :-)

Demik looks at the note curiously.
"The underdark? I don't think I've ever been there... Pack some nuts Steve, we're back on the road!"
(I'll join if it's not on the 12th of March)

All right, let's call this the 19th March and this looks like a party to me! Pretty sure this will be a 2 parter, so plan accordingly!
Now I need to figure out what I'm doing on the 12th...

Depending on the date I might want to jump on this!
Rholor would make more sense since he was part of the negotiations with Vorsthold but depending on the level for this task might take Junastro or someone else!

Happy to be in the party, though it will ultimately depend on what level this is run at. Milo is still a level 2 baby cleric.

I can make the 19th but I'm not in London for the second Tuesday (26th March) so, if it will cause continuity issues Andy, I will step down.

Folks - really sorry but I'm away on holiday next week. For continuity purposes I'm more than happy to have someone "run" Grimes next week in the underdark. Last night proved how effective all your characters are nowadays but, if 2 Paladins are better than one (which of course they are), I can provide / message Grimes' stats to you. I just don't want to drop you all into a continuity trip hazard - it's not like Grimes really has anywhere else he can go from where we left it last night.
Apologies - great session last night :-)
