Guided by visions obtained from the Priest of Selûne in town combined with clues found in an underground necromantic laboratory 2 days journey north of Daring Heights, a team of adventurers was capable of thwarting the plans of an unknown individual that seeks to obtain otherworldly powers from what appears to be a very old and powerful entity of the Feywild.
In the process, with a little bit of help from the werepeople tribe living in the Northern Woods, they acquired a big ruby gemstone that is currently the prison of an Eladrin woman that might be somehow related to this entire story.
What will you do? Release the woman? Keep it safe? Hunt down this individual?
One thing is certain, this is does not end here.

I will give priority to dates where people that were on the previous quests leading up to this are available, but I will aim to run this after the Orc Arc and after all the already booked games I have. First free date is 29/05 apparently.

Varis is definitely in for this - 29th works for me at the moment.

I’ve taken the ruby to the Temple of Seluné; they were able to provide a lot of information. I think we need to consult an arcane expert.

Rholor Identified the ruby necklace containing the tiny figure: it is part of a very powerful magic, an Imprisonment Spell and the Ruby is its material component. "Imprisonment (Level 9 Abjuration): You create a magical restraint to hold a creature that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be bound by the spell, if it succeeds, it is immune to this spell if you cast it again. While affected by this spell, the creature doesn't need to breathe, eat, or drink, and it doesn't age. Divination Spells can't locate or perceive the target. Minimus Containment: The target shrinks to a height of 1 inch and is imprisoned inside a gemstone or similar object. Light can pass through the gemstone normally (allowing the target to see out and other creatures to see in), but nothing else can pass through, even by means of teleportation or Planar Travel. The gemstone can't be cut or broken while the spell remains in effect.” Nuno (Rholor) we still need to identify the circlet, shortsword, and full plate.

Perhaps Aurelia ought to be our next stop with the ruby then? She's the only person I can think of who might have the raw arcane power to break this spell.

At a pinch (/with a good roll), I can dispel any magic enchantment around it: but do we want to? What will happen if we do? Can this Aurelia provide answers?

Also, if she can see out, you can hold up signs with writing on it, in theory. I have a chalkboard somewhere if you want. She can't likely write back though. Maybe she can't see properly through the glass.

Very possibly. She also has some skill with divination magic, and her knowledge of the arcane is, as far as I have seen, unparalleled in Daring.

For those that do not know her: "You approach the Fortress that has magically sprouted from the ground a few weeks back since you've been told the Portal Keeper, Aurelia, is the own overseeing the preparations of said fortress... also the one responsible for the "magical sprouting" of said fortress. You recognise her at a distance with no issue at all, as instructed, she is the tall blonde woman in scholarly robes with an angelical semblance to her." After you explain the issue, she says: "Oh, what an interesting piece of arcane magic you have there. That is a very powerful spell... but oh well, you already knew that. As Rholor told you, it appear to be indeed the material component of an Imprisonment spell... very powerful magic, I have been trying to grasp its basic concepts for a long time and I'm still not quite there. If you want to break it...it won't be simple...the gem itself is indestructible by any physical means. The only ways to dispel it are: you either find a ridiculously powerful spellcaster to break the enchantment... something beyond my own power I am afraid... or you complete the spellbreak clause stated upon casting the spell. If you know what that condition is of course. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help! Feel free to come and see me if you find more interesting things like this one!" ( andycd correct me if I'm wrong here, but Aurelia can't cast 9th level magic, correct?)

Correct. The Fortress is an 8th Level spell, and it's the most powerful magic she can perform.

“Madame Aurelia, a genuine pleasure to meet you. I have heard great things about you from my new acquaintance, Coll. My name is Lachlan, and compared to you I dabble in the arcane in the same way a kitten dabbles at being a lion, so your advice would be even more welcome a sight than your smile.
Can you suggest how we may go about pinpointing the conditions of the spellbreak clause? Indeed, do we even want to release this entity? From what we have learnt this is all wrapped up in the business of the Fey Who Dreamt. I know we have more pressing matters at hand *gestures at the fort* but this is an equally perilous element; more so, as it is subtle and veiled.”

"Oh my... luckily you are not the first weaver of words and songs I've met otherwise your compliments would've left me speechless.
I am afraid that only the caster of such spell and anyone with whom they would've shared the secret would know how to break it... are you sure there were no clues about how to break it where you found it...? That is often the case."

"Also, I do not know anything about this Fey Who Dreamt or this veiled threat you speak of but of one thing I'm sure... you adventurer types have a knack for finding dangerous people and entities so... I believe you. If we survive this orcish onslaught I promise I'll dedicate some of my time to researching this matter"

"Alas, I fear my profession does me a disservice: I assure you, today I speak only with utter guilelessness and candour.
My companions and I have gathered a lot of information recently - I'll revisit it to see what I have overlooked. Thank you for you time."
