“Thats good, but clearly what you were up against proved too much for it. So..Care to fill me in on your day?
"Well, the tavern owner Leona, I think she was a witch, or at least she looked like one, specialises in ‘potent brews’ she said."
“Ah, well she certainly seems like a witch that’s found her clientele.”
"She asked us to go to the Feywild, the Festerwoods to brew her ‘witches brew’ in some special warm soil and get some Tiorem deigh-dry ice stuff."
“Ah yes, I remember my first trip to the Feywild. A very magical realm. Though I have yet to venture to the Festerwoods, what did you think of it?”
“It was very strange, it looked rotten, and smelt like it was dying. Like a harvest gone bad. There was another witch there too, Drusilia. She said it was all caused by a big battle hundreds of years ago. S-she knew my name somehow, and then…
“Yes?”
“And then there were ghosts.”
“Oh?”
“They were spirits. Spirits that had..died there. They were angry..and yet…
“Hm?”
“I-I felt bad for them. I don’t think they meant to attack us, not really.
The others, they said they had no choice, it was us or them. W-was I wrong teacher?”
“…You had good Intentions my pupil. There are things in this world, things that not the most powerful of magics can even begin to help sometimes.”
“Not even yours?”
“Hm. Not even mine young one. But you. You already possess a very powerful magic all of your own.”
“Oh? Whats that then?”
“Your kind heart Mittens. Magic cast with good intention can be a very powerful thing. Yes I thought it sounded a bit sappy when my master taught me this too. But…He was right.
“Who was your master? You never really told me much about them.”
"A question for another time my pupil. Come. Let us have dinner, I’ve baked us a pumpkin pie, and I think it would go wonderfully with some of this 'Witches Brew’ you’ve bought home for me. And for you?”
“Just milk please.”
“Of course young one.”
New folk:
Oziah-A bit scary and fierce but a good fighter, still not sure if she’s a witch or not.
Elias-Their eight legged horse was very strange, yet it felt not much different than riding a normal one.
Jaezred-He spoke to the land somehow, and the mushrooms helped us. I guess Pa was right all along about talking to the crops, they really can hear us.
Marius-and Hoop: He didn’t seem that bothered about getting magic’d older, but I still loved his magic talking plate Hoop, he’s got a whole room inside him!! I hope I can get chance to meet them again sometime!
New Spell to learn:
Speak with Plants: Seems like it’d be useful, maybe it could even help Pa with the harvest next year.
