Our party went North and saw 26 gnolls travelling with 8 hyenas and they were making such a ruckus, hooting and hollering, and they also had a giant egg. They came from the East and went Westward.

Giant egg you say? Imagine the breakfast we could have..
Did you manage to spy white markings on the gnoll's? While in the forests to the North, we encountered a gnoll with white facepaint -not unlike the barbarian tribes of my home.
There may be a lot more of these creatures out there than we realize, and if they are organized, that makes them dangerous.

Don't recall any white Markings on these ones but they were well fed and active. Earlier in the day we were attacked by several gnolls that were white almost skeletal in appearance.

That many gnolls in the north could pose a serious problem, my friends...
If it's of any use, we discovered one (*ahem*) 'recently unoccupied' tower north of Daring Heights which could provide a safe haven from which to launch exploration into the nearby forest. A bastion against the gnollish tide.

I can already picture a red sea of gnoll corpses, with a few gasping for their last breath of air as I grasp tightly at their throats, how glorious that will be!

Who amongst us would be available to investigate this on perhaps the 16th?

The sooner the better -16th works for me, but we'll need one or two more brave souls to face the Gnoll horde

I'm up for a little dog-catching. Let's take these puppies to the pound.

bizteck Are you bold enough (and available) to face such a task on the 16th?

DMs: Fudo, Redrakhir, Moth, and myself are prepared to follow the path of glory (and this rumour) on the 16th May. Is anyone available to run the game then?

It is worth noting that we were pursued back into town by half that number, and they posed a significant threat. It will take ingenuity, strength, or a substantial amount of luck to challenge a group of that size.

I am sure a party could get by on solely a remarkable amount strength. If that is the case, and it usually is, I will be willing to lend a hand.
