During the hunt for the evil Yuan-Ti cult, a group of noble adventurers foiled their plot to open the final gate in the cavernous lair they were occupying.
One particular adventurer, the financially savvy, strong, charismatic and dashing, Dvaergar Caveforged, took it upon himself find out more by ferrying many of the skulls found in the mausoleum to an information broking necromancer named Lothar.
After exchanging the a hefty fee for the skulls, Lothar divulged the following information:
"Now, I've polled a number of these excellent skulls you've brought to me, blood. The cutters were none too specific - often the way with those that have been in the dead book for a long spell, but they kept referring to whatever is behind that final door as an 'Aspect.'
It is a weapon of some kind which they believed could be used to conquer the world. One lady also said that, and I quote: 'the bones of a thousand Yuan-Ti came together with the twisted guardian of hate' in making this thing apparently.
Whatever it is. I got the impression that it's big, and something about releasing it 'granting it skin.'
That's what I've got for you. I hope it helps."
So it seems something must be done to eliminate what could be an enormous threat to the world.
Does anyone feel up to the challenge?

Well, this sounds absolutely horrific and terrifying. I'm not going anywhere near it. I, for one, welcome our new serpentine overlords.

Varis, having finally got his shifts at the smithy settled, is keen to have a crack at these snake men he’s heard so much about. Also, apparently they have gold...

Looks like we'll do this next week then! 20th March - with a BIT of luck it'll be back at the Argyle, but keep an eye out in case it turns out that life is complicated.

Is there room for another. Nowhere would like to stretch his legs on firmer ground than the cogs of mechanus he has spent the past few weeks exploring.

Cheers, you mentioned the 20th March sesh is at the Argyle? Or is that a pub in the D&D world? Once again, apologies for the noob (and probably stupid) questions.

Ha, no thats a fair question - the Argyle is a real pub in Chancery Lane/Farringdon. It closed for a month for refurbishments so we had to go elsewhere but hopefully next week we'll be able to go back and try out the new setup.
