Sheryl had begun to notice a change in herself; or rather, the reaction others have toward her.
Things had been... difficult since her return from the Shadowfell: dark omens haunted her waking dreams. The forced removal of the cursed Cloak of Many Feathers has freed her; but in the dark corners of her memory still fester the Raven Queen's black words of prophecy. She wants - needs - answers.
A sudden gust of wind leaves her shivering, grasping instictively for her cloak that is no longer there. The scars it left on her back have faded, but a dull throbbing pain remains on days such as this.
All of this began with the Fey Courts. Maybe that is where she should look...
With renewed purpose, Sheryl strides toward the Ettin to gather her friends. Above, a murder of ravens circles, cawing for prey.
