The city watch in Port Ffirst is slowly becoming more established and structured. Nonetheless, some tasks are still outside its capabilities. A note has been pinned to all taverns across the Dawnlands where adventurers are known to gather.
"The esteemed silk merchant Bue Pai has been attacked and gravely wounded in the Frog Bog three days ago. Our investigations have confirmed that Pai's caravan was lured astray and attacked by hags. The vile monsters left most of Pai's escort dead and captured some of the survivors, leading them into the deep of the Bog in cages on carts. The number and depth of the tracks suggest the hags have already collected many captives.
Adventurers willing to deal with the hags are advised to talk to Civilar Reen at the City Watch headquarters in New Town. A reward of 1500 gp is available to those taking on the job that will be able to bring back proof of having dealt with the monsters."
Characters should be in Port Ffirst at the beginning of the session. Please let me know if that needs some DM intervention.
